Between 1941 and 1950 Bogushevskaya studied under A. Matveyev, N. Tomsky and G. Shults at the Moscow State Institute of Art.

She exhibited her works from 1952 and was member of the Soviet Artists Union.

Bogushevskaya died in Moscow.
