Born in Fontenay-aux-Roses, France

Between 1886 and 1888 Bonnard studied law at Paris University.

In 1887 he attended night classes at the Academie R.Julian.

In 1888 he enrolled at the École des Beaux-Arts.

From 1891 Bonnard exhibited at the Salon des Independants and the Salon d’Automne.

In 1889 he was among the founders of the Nabis group.

Bonnard died in Le Cannet, France.
