Born in Paris.

Rouault studied at the stained glass studio of the Ecole des Arts Decoratifs from 1885 to 1890.

Between 1891 and 1895 he studied under E.Delauney and G.Moreau at the Academie des Beaux-Arts of Paris.

He contributed to exhibitions from 1895 and exhibited at the Salon d’Automne from 1903.

Rouault was involved in S.Diaghilev’s ballet productions (1929).

He died in Paris.
