Born in Voronezh in 1894.

Between 1909 and 1916 studied under P.S. Utkin at the Bogolyubovskoye Drawing School of Saratov.

From 1917 exhibited his works.

An organizer of the ‘13’ group.

Did paintings, graphic works and book design.

Died in Moscow in 1964.
